In this video I break down my #1 lead gen system for dog trainers: a simple lead funnel that can generate basically unlimited leads when you do it the right way. I show you the bare-bones structure—one page with a free gift (lead magnet), a thank-you page, and then a next step (application, webinar, course, or even sending them back to YouTube). The whole point is simple: get the opt-in, capture the email, and now you can market to them a second time (and beyond) instead of hoping they magically come back. I also share the rabbit hole I went down when my first lead magnet stopped performing. At first, my ebook funnel converted around 30% and I was getting roughly 100–400 opt-ins per day using free traffic like TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook—no paid ads. But then my audience got “offer fatigue” because they’d already seen the same thing over and over. That’s when I realized big businesses don’t have one lead magnet… they have 12–15. My plan going forward is a repeatable 5-step process: validate an idea on social media, build the funnel fast (headline, text, button, image), promote it, create the lead magnet, and repeat.
