If you win the minute, you win the hour, the day, the week—and eventually you win at life. That’s the mindset shift I want you to take into your dog training business. I showed you what my schedule used to look like (random, reactive, and honestly a mess), what it looked like when I was grinding overnight shifts at McDonald’s, and then the schedule I still use today—the one that actually let my business take off. The secret is time blocking: grouping similar tasks together so you’re not constantly switching your brain from calls to sessions to admin to content. Deep work first, then training/family, then phone calls, then recording, then meetings—then I’m done and fully present with my family. I also covered extreme ownership: you’re in control of your time, and excuses are just problems waiting for solutions. If you feel “lazy,” it’s usually unmotivated, you forgot your why, or you’re not seeing rewards yet. The fix is discipline, daily goal reminders, reading testimonials, and learning to say no so you protect your energy and deliver better results for clients.
