The Zhiyun Crane 4 has become the go-to "workhorse" for heavy rigs, while the DJI RS 2 remains a legendary, both are among the best gimbal for filmmaking. This comparison is particularly hot right now for filmmakers looking for high payload capacity without jumping to the $800+ "Pro" models of 2026. * DJI RS 2 Purchase Link: https://fave.co/40s9h8I * Zhiyun Crane 4 Purchase Link: https://fave.co/3P6yVNQ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Business mail: mailcamerazone@gmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Music Source: YouTube Audio Library ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Our social media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thecamerazone Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thecamerazone Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/_camerazone ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Video you may also like: *https://youtu.be/b5LPYjWRjjc *https://youtu.be/MRaQI2Ogzxo *https://youtu.be/YW_JdCTHvM0 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: * The following video abides by the YouTube Community Guideline. About This Video

I put the DJI RS 2 and the Zhiyun Crane 4 on the table and the difference shows up immediately: they’re built for two different kinds of days. I’ve been using the RS2 for more than four years and it became my comfort zone because it simply never failed me on shoots. It’s lighter thanks to the carbon-fiber frame, it wastes no space, and it’s clearly shaped around speed and efficiency. The big RS2 win is balancing precision—especially that fine-tune knob on the tilt axis—so I can dial in tiny shifts without constantly lifting the plate. Once it’s balanced, it stays balanced, and I don’t get those micro shakes during fast steps, pans, or sudden stops. The Crane 4 comes in with a more comfort-first design: the sling grip angle and wrist rest feel softer on long walk shots and low sweeps, and the longer arms give noticeably more clearance for full-frame bodies with cages and longer zooms. Its dual-layer plate makes vertical switching feel native, and Bluetooth shutter control (no cable) is a bigger workflow upgrade than I expected. The built-in LED is also genuinely useful for quick fill, travel, and night clips. In the end, I don’t see them as direct rivals anymore—RS2 is my pick when pressure is high and shots must stay clean, while Crane 4 fits hybrid, mixed-format days where comfort and modern perks matter.
