In this video I’m giving you my honest review of the Hot Wheels potty trainer and showing you a full 360 of what it looks like right out of the package. I walk through the pieces (the seat and the bowl) and talk about what I noticed right away—how sturdy it is, how it sits, and what I was most worried about at first (those wheels). I also share why this design was such a win for us, especially because Bubbuh is really into monster trucks and anything with that “race car” vibe. As a first-time mama, what I’m learning with toddlers is that when you introduce new things using something they already love, they’re way more willing to try—and that was truly a blessing for our potty training journey. This potty made it so, so, so easy to entice Bubbuh to actually sit and participate. I also keep it real about the one con we ran into: my toddler takes pride in emptying the bowl, but putting it back can be a little annoying for him, which can create a little routine hiccup. Overall though, it’s easy to assemble, easy to clean, and it helped us get to the point where my newly-three-year-old will ask to use the potty—so now we’re working on that “big boy bathroom” transition.
