Blockchain has always been a very intimidating concept to me. It’s so closely tied with Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and all these other buzzwords that many talk about on a surface level. It seemed like tech bros and finance bros combined - so I’ve mostly stayed away. But about a year ago, one of my college professors reached out and told me he was working on a start up (Reach) that would help software developers create applications on the blockchain - decentralized applications (DApps). It would be a platform consisting of a compiler, a programming language, and a deployment tool that would make it easier and safer for developers to create blockchain applications. Turns out - blockchain is actually pretty cool. I’m so excited to be partnering with Reach and Algorand to create a free YouTube series that tackles how to create decentralized applications with blockchain technology. In 10 Days of Blockchain, you’ll learn what a blockchain is, build a decentralized application, and deploy it to the Algorand blockchain. With Day 0 specifically, we'll break down all the blockchain buzzwords into English - think bitcoin, transactions, decentralized apps, and blockchain itself. Thank you for watching! ✅ NOTE: Reach documentation at the time of your viewing may be slightly different than when I recorded.
