It’s easily the most common question I get about the city - and one I’ve avoided answering for a long time. Not because I didn’t know the answer… but because the number needs a lot of context. So in this video, I finally sat down (at the insistence of my accountant), added everything up, and broke it all down properly. This includes: - Modular buildings, Ninjago, medieval, fairground and custom builds - Rebrickables and “boring LEGO” nobody shows on Instagram - MILS plates, roads, trains and track - Tables, wood, equipment, rent and insurance This isn’t a flex video. This isn’t what you need to build a LEGO City. And it definitely didn’t happen in one mad weekend. This is years of collecting, rebuilding, mistakes, changes of direction - and scaling a LEGO City for content, not just as a hobby. If you’re building a LEGO City at home on a shelf, table or floor - you’re doing it right. Creativity beats budget every single time.
