Sketching a Magical Snowy Town in Japan (& attacked by a fox!)

Come with me to visit & paint the magical snowy town of Ginzan Onsen! This village is famous for its traditional wooden inns and its rumored connection to Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away ❄️✨ Between watercolor freezing on the page and my fingers slowly turning into popsicles, it was a bit of a challenge, but sketching in the snow was such a unique experience! I’ll also take you along to see the Snow Monsters of Mount Zao, and visit a fox village where I got a few hugs (and nibbles) from playful foxes.
