In this video (#237), I’m finally pulling out a ResinCrete seahorse that’s been sitting around way too long… because the tail was broken. And you know me—just because it’s broken doesn’t mean it has to be trash. I show you how I fixed that tail and turned the whole piece into something I actually love looking at again. The fun part is the color. I did my version of “painting” with mica powders to get that rainbow look, and I’ll walk you through how I place the colors, blend them, and build up the shimmer so it looks intentional (not muddy). If you’ve ever stared at a ResinCrete piece and thought, “Now what do I do with this?” this is your sign to try mica powders and give it a second chance.
