Inflation does not always mean home prices go up. ❌ Owning real estate still offers many benefits during inflation, but do not assume that home prices are going up just because the CPI does. Supply-push inflation, like the kind we’re likely to see (at least in the short run) is often accompanied by lower demand. ⬇️ Doesn’t mean you cannot buy (there will be better deals!), but do not assume appreciation in the short run.
