In this video I’m packing my tech backpack for a road trip to the Italian Alps, and I’m taking you with me through South Tyrol. We start at Schwarzschmied—one of my all-time favorite spa hotels—because the japandi interior design, minimalist spa area, and that view of the church and vineyards are just perfect. After that, we head to what might genuinely be the most unique Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The concrete construction with those massive windows makes the whole place feel like it’s built around the mountains and the changing weather outside. Once we’re settled, I break down the travel tech I can’t go without. The foundation is my Aer Tech Pack (I’ve used it for years) because it keeps everything organised without looking overly “techy.” Inside, I carry my 16-inch MacBook Pro in silver—cleaner, fewer fingerprints, and I love the big display for editing and winding down with Apple TV in the evening. I also show my iPhone 15 Pro with a BandWerk leather/titanium case, my Harber London tech organiser with external SSDs (I prefer external drives to avoid Apple’s SSD pricing), a super compact KUXIU 3-in-1 charger, and my Grams28 leather camera sling for proper protection when I bring camera gear.
