About This Video

In this video, I take my current TV setup—my 65-inch LG OLED from 2023—and upgrade it the way I’ve wanted to for a long time: with a proper lighting system that actually adds to the experience instead of just looking flashy. I’m testing the FancyLED RGBW 3 HDMI 2.1 Fancy Sync Box, and I walk you through everything from the unboxing to the full install behind the TV. You’ll see what’s in the box, how the corner clips guide the strip around the edges, and why I love that the strip isn’t a preset length—you can cut it at the cut points so it fits your TV properly. I also cover the setup in the app (iOS/Android), including orientation, HDR saturation, and the sync tuning options. For my setup, I landed on around 75% brightness, high diffusion, and 60% diffusion speed for a vibrant but smooth look. Then I put it through real-world testing with movies and a PlayStation 4 Pro: sync accuracy is genuinely impressive, color matching is on another level thanks to RGBW with a dedicated white channel, and I don’t perceive any visible lag. Overall, it checks the boxes that matter to me—immersion, clean color, and seamless integration.
