We set out for a solid day of adventure riding through the backroads of British Columbia, pushing deeper into the mountains on the Yamaha Tenere 700 and KTM 690. But as the elevation climbed, so did the snow. And before long, this adventure ride turned into a battle just to keep moving. The Yamaha Tenere 700 proved why it’s such a popular adventure bike, handling rough terrain, mud, and snow like a champ. Meanwhile, the KTM 690 showed its strengths as a lightweight weapon when the trail got tighter and more technical. This is what real adventure riding looks like. Unpredictable conditions, tough decisions, and learning as you go. We hit deep snow, sketchy sections, and had to decide… do we keep pushing forward, or turn back?
