In this video, I break down why I personally chose the 1Zpresso JX-PRO over the Comandante C40—especially if you’re playing in the espresso space and you care about value. With espresso, micro adjustments make dialing in so much easier, and that’s where the JX-PRO made more sense for me compared to the Comandante where you still have to detach the receiver. I touch on longevity too—like burr life (around 150kg or 7,500 cups on average before replacement) and real-world durability. Plus, I share a few nitpicks I noticed, like color options being limited, rubber parts shifting when grounds get in there, and the receiver threads loosening a bit. The best part: I saved enough money to buy another compact grinder that fits my AeroPress.
