Ticket to Ride is one of my favorite “gateway” strategy games for teens because it’s easy to learn but still feels like real planning and competition. The setup is quick, and it rewards spatial thinking and friendly rivalry without being a huge time sink. It’s a super reliable family game night or sleepover pick.
