This vlog is the last part of my org life series, and this is where we really kick off the event—our Asia Pacific Regional Meeting (FIN) here in the Philippines. I’m bringing you along as a first year med student balancing school life with org commitments, so you’ll see the actual “event mode” side of things: showing up, being present, and trying to keep my energy up while still staying grounded. It’s very much a school vlog but with that org-life pacing—busy, a little chaotic, but super fulfilling. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to join org events while you’re in a heavy academic season, this is basically my real-time diary of it. My biggest takeaway is that org life can be such a good reset from the usual med routine, as long as you pace yourself and enjoy the moment.
