Painting a Studio Ghibli Scene in my sketchbook was SO Helpful in learning how to use Miya HIMI Gouache. This is my second time ever using gouache paints of any kind. This cluttered scene study was fun and challenging. I focused on learning the correct use of water with gouache, color mixing, and layering the paint. I still have a lot to learn, but I would highly recommend giving scene studies a try.
