Since it’s winter in Toronto, I was focused on being season-appropriate with products that feel extra hydrating and moisturizing, but still budget-friendly (because that bill adds up fast, okay?). At Walmart, I stocked up on body care like a new-to-me SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus body wash (I got influenced) and my OGX Coconut + Coffee wash/scrub combo that smells so good I need it in a fragrance. I also grabbed my EOS lotions (Vanilla Cashmere is that girl), my go-to clear Dove deodorant (no stains on my clothes, please), and feminine care—Always pads while I’m still on the hunt for a more organic option. For oral hygiene, I picked up my two toothpaste rotation (Harm & Hem regular whitening + their charcoal), mouthwash, floss, and a pack of manual toothbrushes because I switch them out constantly. Then I ran to Dollar Tree for the basics Walmart didn’t have—loofahs and exfoliating gloves—because bacteria grows, and I’m not playing about being clean. I wrapped it all up with a full haul at home, plus my real thoughts on what’s worth it for winter self-care on a budget.
