I planned an intimate “Blush & Bloom” floral-themed brunch with my girls, and I’m bringing you along from the prep week: taking my multivitamins, touring the room layout, hunting for decor (Michaels failed me, so Amazon it is), grabbing last-minute bits from Winners, and even making my own wig on a budget because the beauty supply store will humble you if you let it. The day after my birthday, I unboxed the prettiest Armani Beauty PR package (and yes, I immediately claimed those shadows for bridal clients and my kit). Then it was full-on setup mode: macaron tower plans because I didn’t want cake, fresh florals for a DIY bouquet station, and all the cozy brunch vibes. I also did my own glam—Hollywood bombshell curls, soft glam, and I was lowkey filming everywhere at once. After the brunch, I really sat in gratitude. I reflected on turning 27, how my journey doesn’t look like everyone else’s, and how peaceful it feels to trust God even when there’s uncertainty.
