Exercise: Question Your Beliefs One of the most important skills to learn in life coaching is questioning your thoughts and beliefs so that you can decide to believe things that allow you to create the life you want.  The damaging statements below are very common but have no factual basis. If you believe any of them, question them deeply or they will become/remain true for you. Take this exercise seriously and it will give you the incredible gift of redefining what is possible for your life. If you get stuck, ask questions like: -Why do I believe this? -What evidence can I find against this? -Are there people that do not believe this? If so, then why do I believe it? -If this weren’t true, then what would I believe instead? Common Damaging False Beliefs:  I have to work hard to make money.  I am not good enough.  I need a degree/license to be successful. I am worth $____ per hour/year. Work is supposed to suck (I really don’t like this one). They know what is best for my life.  I have had a hard life.
