I’ve been a bit quiet lately — and there’s a reason for it. After taking a month off over Christmas and New Year to reset, spend time with family, play gigs, and record new music, I’m back and having a proper think about where this channel is heading. If you’re new here, I usually post guitar gear demos, pedal reviews, budget gear tests, and practical guitar tips. But outside of YouTube, I also work as a guitar teacher in a SASS school, oversee a rock band program, study a Bachelor of Music at university, work as a session guitarist for local artists, and run a home recording and production studio. So in this video, I’m asking you: What sort of content do you actually want to see on this channel? Would you be interested in: Guitar gear demos and pedal reviews Band rehearsal and ensemble tips Guitar teaching strategies and practice advice Session guitarist life (live gigs and studio work) Home studio recording and music production Music theory and uni concepts explained simply Or just more riffs and tone chasing Leave a comment and let me know what you want to see more (or less) of. 👉 Like the video, subscribe to the channel, and comment below When the channel hits 1,000 subscribers, I’ll be giving away a Valeton GP5 to one of you legends. Thanks for watching, thanks for supporting the channel, and normal guitar-related chaos resumes shortly 🤘 📧 andrewwalkermusic.info@gmail.com

About This Video

I’ve been a bit quiet lately, and in this video I’m basically having a proper channel “what am I doing?” moment. After taking about a month off over Christmas and New Year to reset, hang with family, play some gigs, and record new music, I came back and realised I need to be more intentional about where Andrew Walker Music is heading. I usually live in the world of guitar gear demos, pedal reviews, budget tests, and practical tone-and-tech tips—but there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes than just filming YouTube videos. Outside of YouTube, I’m juggling teaching guitar in a SASS school, running a rock band program, studying a Bachelor of Music, doing session guitar work for local artists, and recording/producing out of my home studio. So I’m throwing it to you: what do you actually want more of? Gear and pedal demos, band rehearsal/ensemble tips, teaching strategies and practice advice, session guitarist life (gigs + studio), home recording and production, music theory/uni concepts explained simply, or just more riffs and tone chasing. Drop a comment and steer the ship—normal guitar-related chaos resumes shortly.
