South Dakota 5 Day Road Trip with Kids

SOUTH DAKOTA 5 DAY ROAD TRIP ITINERARY WITH KIDS: Planning your South Dakota Road Trip and Black Hills Road Trip Stops. There are several South Dakota National Parks to visit, state parks, and other kid-friendly activities! Here’s how we organized our trip. The only thing I would have done differently is stand in line early in the morning at Wind Cave National Park to get tickets for a cave tour on the same day we did the Mammoth Dig Site in Hot Springs, SD. We didn’t realize the tickets sold out so early in the day, so we had to push it back to Day 4.
