We stayed at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla for two nights as our home base for exploring La Jolla and San Diego. I loved the spacious room (we had space to spread out) and the pool area with family games, plus the fire pits where we did s’mores—one of my kids’ trip highlights. Just know it’s a bit away from downtown (about 30 minutes), so plan your drive time.
