About This Video

In this video I’m breaking down exactly how I attended New York Fashion Week as a small content creator and still walked away with $500+ worth of freebies. I did it in three easy steps, and I’m sharing the same plan I used—because you’d be surprised how much you can actually get access to when you just do the research and shoot your shot. I’m Gen Z, I love to travel, and I’m super into fashion/beauty, so NYFW was literally a dream… and I want it to feel doable for you too. Step one is research, reach out, and apply. I use the official NYFW schedule to find brands (big and small), then I email PR and apply for press passes when they’re available. And yes, I’m talking content creators, bloggers, podcasters—each show has different criteria, so don’t count yourself out. Step two is group chats, because honestly some of the coolest opportunities come from who you know: volunteer spots, last-minute seat-filler tickets, and word-of-mouth popups. Step three is where to stay—hotels skyrocket during fashion week, so I recommend splitting with friends and staying near the area where most of your shows/popups are so you’re not wasting money on rides.
