Three Days in Yosemite

After finishing the Canyons 100K on the historic Western States 100 racecourse, I took 3 days to "rest" and explore Yosemite National Park. It was my first time there and a bucket list experience, so I focused on the Valley this time around. Next time I'll cast a wider net and get further into the backcountry. Mid-spring is a great time to visit. Crowds are lean, the waterfalls are flowing, and the air is still clear of wildfire smoke. The highlight of my time was Upper Yosemite Falls, THE TALLEST Waterfall in North America! This roundtrip hike totals over 7 miles in distance and has almost 2,500 feet of elevation gain. The views are absolutely worth the effort to get there.
