Running the Elder Creek Night Runs 50K Race

Anyone up for a cool and easy 50K through the desert? Last Saturday, in the blistering heat of Southern California, I decided to run the Elder Creek Night Runs 50K. It was around 100 degrees at the start of the race. Hot enough to scramble your brains and force a last minute existential crisis. I ran it as a long training run for UTMB 2023. It's a great race series ranging from a 9 miler up to a 50K, a distance for any kind of runner out there. Go check it out, it's fun! Bring ice.
