Week 4 Training for Ultra Trail's UTMB 2023 has me landing back home in the US. It's been a long 4 months, spending nearly all of it on the road... California to Colorado to London to South Africa to Namibia to New England and then back home. It's a true blessing to experience the world and all the beauty and wonder it has to offer, but it also comes with plenty of challenges. For me, mostly learning how to maintain focus and consistency in my race training for UTMB 2023. As ultrarunners, we always have to make accommodations for a balanced life in order to get the necessary miles on your feet. That balance is rarely tested more than when away from home and outside of a normal schedule. But I feel like I've cracked the case and figured out a good rhythm of work, play, and training while on the road traveling from place to place. Are you running UTMB 2023?
