In this video I’m putting together a planted shallow Betta aquarium using a Wio 45f and a Kessil A80, with Wilson the Betta as the centerpiece. The focus here is that clean, low-profile “shallow” look—lots of open surface area, a simple layout, and plants that suit the scale without turning the tank into a jungle overnight. For planting, I’m using various Cryptocoryne, because they’re one of my go-to choices for a natural, grounded aquascape vibe in a smaller footprint. Because the transcript audio isn’t usable, I’m leaning on what I show and what I list in the build: the tank, the light, the plant choice, and the livestock. The main takeaway is that you don’t need a massive setup to get a really polished planted display—good proportions, a reliable light, and slow-growing plants go a long way.
