A lot of us have cycles at home which aren’t being used, and the biggest mistake I keep seeing is people listing the bike in an “as-is” condition with dusty, dull photos. Even if your cycle is sparingly used, it won’t show under the dirt on the drivetrain and components—so the buyer assumes it’s abused and negotiates hard. What I show here is all about showcasing the best side of your bike. Clean the bike properly (especially the chain, cassette, and areas that collect grime), do a quick basic tune so it feels smooth, and then take clear photos that make the condition obvious. When your listing looks clean and honest, it builds trust, reduces pointless back-and-forth, and helps you justify your asking price.
