TEO - (A VEO 3.1 only short film )

TEO - A VEO 3 ONLY short film "TEO" is my submission for the 1 Billion Followers Summit. I spent about three and a half weeks working on it on and off while juggling other projects. Because the rules required the film to be created solely with Google Gemini tools, I had to adapt my usual workflow, which typically involves using the strengths of different video models to get the best results. I’m still really happy with how it turned out, and I hope you’ll find something in it that resonates with you. The film explores the “hidden” purpose of teddy bears through Teo’s journey as he shares the story of his life and his owner through his eyes. Teo and all teddy bears are much more than toys, and the audience gradually discovers just how much more. At its heart, I wanted the film to spark a desire to understand our own emotions, reminding us that even when life can feels like a roller coaster at times, we all have “Teo's” in our lives to show us that we don’t have to face difficult moments alone and that if we’re willing to explore our emotions, we can understand ourselves more deeply and take some steps towards emotional healing. A huge thank you to Google DeepMind, Leonardo.Ai, Freepik, and Runway for hosting Google tools. When certain shots wouldn’t generate in the Flow platform, I could manage it by trying on those 3 platforms, with Runway coming super handy in the end with Nano Banana Pro (4k) The images were created using Nano Banana and Nano Banana Pro in Freepik Flow and Runway. Most of the text-to-video clips were made in Flow, with additional clips generated in Runway, Freepik, and Leonardo, as well as image-to-video conversions. Music was made with Suno and from Pixabay. Some images were also upscaled using Magnific AI and Topaz Labs.
