This is my Paris vlog, and honestly… Paris showed me premium pepper from the start. We flew in on a late Friday flight (that still got delayed by 45 minutes), landed around 1 a.m., and crashed. The next morning, we finally took in our apartment and you guys—gorgeousness! We stayed one week in a fully furnished Blueground apartment right in the center, and that location really helped because we could walk to so many places. I took you along to the Eiffel Tower, strolling by the river area (it was so windy, thank God I wore a coat because cold would have entered my body for real), and a very “Sunday in Europe” kind of day where it’s quiet… but also somehow still bubbling outside. We attempted a museum walk until we saw the ticket price—€130 per person—and my African self said, “one man begin.” We did food stops too (I changed restaurants when I didn’t like the first one), and I shared little travel realities like carrying your passport when moving around Europe as an immigrant—because they literally told me residence permit is not a travel document. By the end, it was time to say goodbye and head back to Berlin for a 7 a.m. flight. Paris was really nice, and I’m definitely coming back—this is one of those cities you’ll visit more than once.
