About This Video

This vlog is literally one of those “I don’t know the beginning, the middle, or the end” kind of days—because I just had a serious craving for pho and I decided I wasn’t only going to eat it… I was going to make it. So I carried you along from grocery shopping (including my chopsticks mission, hunting for rice noodles, fish sauce, ginger, onions, and all the random “what is this one?” moments) to coming back home to start the real work. And yes, my husband and I still managed to get distracted on the way—because life is life. Once we got home, I followed a Vietnamese lady’s recipe I found on TikTok (I’ve been enjoying her noodle series for a while), and I won’t lie—this thing is a 4-hour situation and it was already past 6. But the main takeaway? Trying something new can genuinely surprise you. I tasted the broth in the pot and I was like, okayyy… this is actually good. When we finally ate, the sauce was banging, the spice shocked me (pepper soup that went to Vietnam, please!), and even my husband was impressed. Let this be your sign: try something you’ve not tried before and let it surprise you.
