Seasoned Egg Bake and Cinnamon Rolls are the perfect casseroles to take for a potluck brunch. Both are easy to prep ahead and can go in the oven at the same time the next morning before heading out to the potluck. Just be sure to really fill the baking dish with cinnamon rolls so they touch and get nice and puffy. The Grands work the best, but I will say I brought home two empty dishes. Both were hits. For the egg bake choose your favorite crouton flavor and brand. The ones I used today are a bit different than the regular ones I've used and were good, but I do like the traditional (non-organic) ones from Aldi, but they were out when I went shopping and so that's why I picked up the organic ones. They seem to not have quite as much flavor. Seasoned Egg Bake (pg. 35, vol. 2) 1/2 stick butter 6 oz. pkg. croutons 8 oz. sharp or med. cheddar, shredded 8 eggs 2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. mustard 1 pkg. bacon or sausage or ham Melt butter in 9x13 baking dish. Top with croutons and cheese. Whisk eggs, milk, and mustard. Pour over cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Cook and crumble bacon or meat of choice. Remove foil, top with meat and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool slightly until it fully sets up. This is so, so good. S H O P T H I S V I D E O My cookbooks are available for purchase.
