This is a really common challenge I come across when I'm helping students figure out how to study effectively... they struggle to do practice questions, feel bad when they go so wrong, feel highly anxious before exams etc. We THINK that it's because we need to know our stuff more (hence the continual revision cycle)... but take a look at this clip from a study coaching group session I ran a while back... you may find that your anxiety comes from this...
