"Did we achieve our goals and plans for the year?" At this time of year, most of us do this. I want to talk about how we feel about the answers to this question and what it means for us. So many of my students worry that if they haven't achieved their plans, that it MEANS that they won't achieve their goals, won't be 'ok' etc. I totally understand that worry. I've included some of my plans and experiences of how my plans have worked out (they generally didn't!), as a more personal example of what I mean by all this.
