This Usborne outdoors book is one I bring out intentionally, because it’s such a nice quality book and it’s easy for little ones to damage when they’re in a mood (or when a baby is crawling about). The illustrations make it really inviting, and it gives you loads to talk about—animals, plants, and what you’re seeing outside. It’s a great addition if you want a simple nature thread in your routine.
