The Big Picture Book of Outdoors by Usborne is a really lovely picture-and-information book, with pages about wildlife, flowers, and the outdoors. I keep it in the morning basket because I want Samuel to use it, but I don’t leave it out for free access—mainly so it doesn’t get squished or wrecked. It’s a calm, gentle way to add nature learning into our day.
