THIS is how much Medium paid me August 2020 - LIVE REVEAL

My favorite question I get is: "How much money can you earn from writing on Medium?" I love it because the answer (for me) is different every month! My worst month, I earned $3.32... my best month, I earned $3,500. I LOVE writing and it's unbelievably rewarding to get paid to do so. Every month is a bit of a rollercoaster as I can't predict when/if something will go viral... but I am always hoping it will. This month, I had two fairly big hits, but published later in the month so we'll see what that turns into for money! I wrote 8 stories total, most of which were duds but two of which did unexpectedly well! I avoid looking at my stats/earnings all month because it stresses me out and I like to focus on simply writing. That strategy has paid off for me - the less I know about what earns me money, the more I write about stuff I care about, instead of trying to game the system.
