What are the benefits of freelance writing? What are the downsides? Before I was a fulltime freelance writer, I really didn't know. I thought the pros were lots of free time, and I thought the cons might be an insecure wage. Having now been a full-time freelancer for some time, and having multiple 7-8k months, I know the truth is actually very, very different to what most people expect or believe.
