The Cloudlifter X is Cloud’s single-channel booster that adds real flexibility: about 12 dB when 26 dB is too much, and up to roughly 36 dB when you’re dealing with super quiet sources. The always-on CineMag nickel-core transformer is the secret sauce—push it and it can add a little saturation and harmonic content instead of staying perfectly “flat” like the CL-1.
