The Origin Effects RevivalDRIVE Compact Hot Rod is the whole reason this video exists—it's a killer, all-analog amp-style distortion that recreates the tube amp signal path, including the push-pull output section. It nails that boosted Plexi vibe, stays tight at higher gain, and the gain sweep is actually usable from edge-of-breakup to ripping tones. Going direct with an IR, it’s one of the closest things I’ve played to my real amps when cranking a cab isn’t practical.
