Contact me via email ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ In this video, we put the Expedition Units Project 8020 to the ultimate test to see if it's a truly waterproof backpack. So many bags claim to be waterproof, but are they really? I'll be going over all the pros and cons, from its welded construction to its unique roll-top design, and share my honest thoughts on whether this is the perfect bag for you. We cover key features like: Capacity: A 23L volume that can expand to 28L. Durability: The incredible waterproof and easy-to-clean material. Motorcycle Use: Why I think this is the perfect motorcycle backpack, especially in this high-visibility gray color. Comfort: The comfort of the shoulder straps and back panel. I’ll also share some of the trade-offs, like the lack of internal organization, the tough Velcro closure, and the unpadded interior. But do these drawbacks get outweighed by its strongest feature? Watch the full review to see the water test and find out if this is the waterproof bag you've been searching for. What do you think? Do you need a waterproof bag? Let me know in the comments below! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 00:00 Intro 00:12 Why I nitpick 01:13 What's waterproof? 03:12 The expandable opening 04:11 The aggressive velcro 05:33 The lack of features / organisation 06:52 No padding 07:26 A very small quickaccess compartment 07:38 The handles 07:52 The shoulder straps 08:06 The backpanel 09:12 Is this ugly? 10:13 Stylecheck 11:26 the positives 12:03 the waterproof test 14:26 No features and a dark hole, still great though 15:33 the bottom padding 15:39 Ultimate protection against the elements 17:01 Comfort 17:22 Not that many positives, BUT... 19:13 Verdict ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ FULL DISCLOSURE: The review part of this video is not sponsored nor did I receive any money to review the item. While I sometimes get bags for free, I have to pay custom fees, shipping fees and all my videos have lots of production costs (e.g. software and music rights). Therefore I invest my own money into all of these videos and I have no intention to be biased towards a product or company. Every review and quicklook is written by me and no company can pay for preferential scheduling or what is said in the video. Furthermore, the company sees the video the same time as all viewers here on youtube. All opinions in this video are my own unless stated otherwise. ETHICS STATEMENT https://youtu.be/dbtSEj2qT1c HOW I REVIEW: As you might know from my „How I make a buying decision“ video: Rather than just looking at the pros, I like to evaluate the cons or flaws of an item and then evaluate if I can live with them. That is why in my video reviews I concentrate more on the cons of an item rather than going over all the features. Therefore everything shown is just a fraction of all the points that go into the verdict and score of an item. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A QUICKLOOK AND A REVIEW: A Quicklook usually covers pre-production units or items that I only used for a short period of time. While Reviews cover final items that I have reviewed intensively. AFFILIATE LINKS: No matter if I like or dislike a product, I want to make it easy for you to check out the product yourself. Therefore I include a link of the productpage. If marked with a star *, that link is an affiliate link, meaning if you buy the product via the link you DO NOT pay more, but you will support the channel. Check out this video for why I now include affiliate links: https://youtu.be/JvnVSrvkclE ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
