Practicing For My First FLW BFL of the Season!!! Spring Bass Fishing on Kerr Lake/Buggs Island

My first FLW BFL of the season is in the books and I finished in a respectable 8th place out of 98 other co-anglers. Here's what my fishing parter Paul and I did on our first of two days of practice to try and figure out what the bass were doing in the Spring on Buggs Island...aka Kerr Lake. There was no question that the bass were still in the pre-spawn mode and we were convinced that many were already on the banks and in full spawn mode. I didn't take the camera out of day two of practice or on tournament day due to the horrible rain, but a bunch off fish were caught using everything from moving baits to soft plastics.
