My Last Day of Recreational Bass Fishing in Maryland (Great Pre-Spawn Bite!!!)

As of 8pm on March 30th, Maryland residents are under a stay-at-home order. All recreational boating and fishing is over, however, you can still fish from the shore or from a boat if you are fishing for food only. I was able to get out just hours before the order went into effect for some pre-spawn bass fishing and fortunately, it was a beautiful day. The water was slightly stained, the wind was blowing and the water temps were between 56 and 59 degrees up the creek I was fishing. I got 5 bites and landed 3 chunky spring bass on my Finch Nasty Bait Co. "Nasty's Thumper" vibrating jig. I am looking forward to the day things are back to normal, but in the mean time, let's all stay safe and healthy out there.
