Think stunning beaches, crystal clear water, gorgeous traditional restaurants serving up proper Spanish grub, and one of the most charming old towns you'll ever wander around. Oh, and you can't miss the Peñón de Ifach — that massive rock rising out of the sea — it's absolutely incredible. Whether you're staying in Benidorm and fancy a day trip, or you're just looking for something a bit more chilled without sacrificing the sunshine and good food, Calpe is well worth the trip. I'll be exploring the old town, hitting the beach, finding somewhere decent for a bite to eat, and giving you my honest, down to earth take on the whole place.
