We kick things off in the breathtaking Maspalomas Sand Dunes, taking in those desert vibes right by the sea 🌊🐪 before making our way down the coast into the classy resort of Meloneras. There’s only one thing on my mind… food! I dive into some proper Spanish tapas with sizzling garlic prawns, while Lisa (because it’s Pancake Day!) swerves tradition and goes all in on pancakes instead 🥞😂 Next stop… Playa del Inglés! First up, the legendary Yumbo Centre where we grab cocktails at The Cocobana Bar. Lisa orders a “Her Name Is Lola” 🍸 inspired by the Barry Manilow classic — and it definitely packs a punch! Then we head down to the beachfront and visit the Tipsy Hammock Bar for some very tasty (but let’s be honest… slightly pricey!) cocktails with a sea view 🍹🌅 To round off the night, we head back to Puerto Rico, finishing strong with a proper burger at Barbacoa Bar in the Europa Centre 🍔🔥 — because you can’t beat a late-night burger to end a cracking day. Sun, sand dunes, cocktails, tapas and good vibes all round… this is Gran Canaria done properly!
