Of course I had to purchase a handbag in Vegas—but I behaved, okay? Coach lets you buy extra hang tags only when you purchase a leather good first, so that’s literally how this Plaza Bag ended up coming home with me. I’m unboxing the Coach Plaza Bag 22 in Black Currant (and yes, I compare it to the Plaza 18 because choosing the size was a real struggle). The 18 felt like it would be the perfect pouch/catchall, but the 22 gave me more room and works better as an actual mini purse for evenings, date nights, and girls nights—while still being able to drop into a bigger tote when I’m traveling. I also get into the leather quality (full grain, soft, supple… it reminded me why I fell in love with Coach), the details, and my custom oxblood hang tag with the Las Vegas skyline plus dice and playing cards. And because I know you always want the practical stuff, I do a what-fits test with my phone (Flip 5 unfolded), power bank, and card holder—plus there’s room for lip products and keys. The camera case was a little too much with everything else, but it can fit on its own with a couple small extras.
