Two 17-year-olds, binge drinker Hannah from Worthing and lazy college dropout Leigh from Kings Lynn, get new parents in Botswana. For a week, they live under the strict rules of the Selelo family. Dad Michael is in the army, and mom Marianyana is a nurse. The Selelos believe that discipline is the key to raising a happy family and have prepared for the British teens a set of rules that includes getting up at 5:00 in the morning every day, not smoking and not getting body piercing. Leigh attempts to hide his numerous piercings from the Selelos, but 2--year-old son Gape notices Leigh's nipple ring and tells his parents.
