In this video I show you exactly how I’m carrying real food and cold drinks on the Honda Goldwing without playing the “melted ice and soggy sandwich” game. I’m running the SetPower RF20 12V fridge/freezer (21 quart) and walking through why a powered cooler makes a ton of sense for touring—especially when you’re stacking long days in the Southwest and you want to stop wherever you want, not just wherever there’s a restaurant. I cover the basics that matter on a motorcycle: size, power draw, and how fast it chills. This unit will run as a fridge or a freezer, it cools down quick, and it sips power in ECO mode. I also like that you can control it from the panel or the phone app, and the built-in ice pack is a nice backup to help keep things cool if power gets interrupted.
