In this video, I show you exactly how to recover permanently deleted files even after you’ve emptied the Recycle Bin. I take a real folder I use in my edits (my video overlay pack), send it to the Recycle Bin, and then empty it—so it’s “gone” the way it happens in real life when you delete something important by mistake. The good news is, you can still get it back if you act quickly and use the right recovery tool. I use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard and walk you through the whole process: selecting the location where the data was lost (Recycle Bin in my case), starting the scan, and then narrowing down the results using the search bar—because the scan can pull up a crazy amount of files. I also show how you can preview files before restoring them, so you’re not guessing what you’re recovering. Finally, I recover the folder, choose a safe destination to save it, and verify the recovered videos play perfectly. One thing to note: the free version recovers up to 2GB, and if you need more, you’ll have to upgrade (they also had a student lifetime offer mentioned in the video).
