On the last day of my trip, I visit a gorgeous rock pool then descend from the slopes of Rhinog Fawr down to Llyn Cwm Bychan. Here I had some time to relax, have a go at stone balancing, watch the sun set and reflect on my journey before heading home the next morning. This trip has been one of the best things I have ever done; it has also increased my confidence, knowing that not only can I survive by myself in the middle of nowhere for days at a time, I can also thrive.
